Kala Ramesh

A poet and editor, Kala Ramesh writes and teaches haiku, tanka, haibun and renku to children, undergrads and senior citizens. To bring haiku into everyday spaces, Kala Ramesh has initiated HaikuWALL, haikuTRAIL, haikuTALK, haikuWORKSHOP, haikuYOUTH, haikuUTSAV, haikuDHYANA and haikuSTAGE- a weaving together of art forms. SAMVAAD: the open sky — a dialogue to bring writers of different poetic genres together is her latest venture. Author of Naad Anunaad and beyond the horizon beyond, Kala has been a speaker at several national and international literary festivals.
