With the firm belief that When women earn – children can learn– Katha motivated and involved the community women into income generation activities like tailoring, embroidery, baking, cooking. With the Vocational and entrepreneurship training becoming the need of the day, in 1990 Shakti Khazana was set up which, in turn, developed into a full-fledged Katha School of Entrepreneurship wherein we provide Knowledge and Marketplace-focused skills. The entrepreneurship and vocational training programs together with the IT training at the Katha Information Technology and e-Commerce School [KITES], with all the programs undertaken by Alumni group and Industry experts, prepare students and the youth from the communities, effectively for the job market. Here again English conversation sessions are held to equip students with work-place communication skills. All the courses at KSE are certified by both the Ministry of Human Resource Development as well as the National Institute of Open Schooling. Katha has been successful in getting 80% of the passed-out students find jobs with reputed Organizations. 

The 6 months and 12 months courses offered are:

  1. Bakery Confectionary & Food Processing
  2. AC & Refrigeration repair and maintenance
  3. IT and computer course including DTP and Web Design
  4. Cutting tailoring and Dress Designing
