The Katha City Stories Contest

The Search for Creativity

Imaginenow

Katha invites you to grow your creative imagination . and fly!

what is it
A contest especially for school(classes8 - 12) / college students

what we believe

That almost all great fiction has been written about the human condition. Whether it is Munshi Premchand, MT Vasudevan Nair, Lila Majumdar or Ruskin Bond, they write about life, raw as it is. So why don't you give yourself the opportunity of being a wordsmith?

What should you do
Look around you. At your city. And write a story about the urban experience. The more imaginative the better. The more creative the better chances it has of winning a prize.

What can you write about
Just about anything. A fantasy about street children and their education. A story of a kooky architect who hatches fun designs for better slums. The saga of taxi-drivers, artists, rag pickers, who alike, form the fabric of the city. A tale of the urban underbelly.

who can participate
School (classes8-12)/college students from all over India.
